Q. What do the letters "CT" on a US nozzle mean?
The “CT” marking evolved from a 1980’s method to positively differentiate US nozzles from European nozzles. When Delavan was required to meet EN standards for testing and marking in the early 90’s the “CT” mark was removed from nozzles 1.65 GPH and below as it was no longer needed; however, it remains on nozzles above 1.75 GPH. The same nozzle with or without the “CT” mark is identical in every way since it was produced and sold into the US market. |
